A REAL shoutbox replacement.

Okay, we all know the shoutbox replacement in the shape of a Spammage thread isn't working too well.

Here's what I suggest, but not sure if possible:
Add a "Connect to IRC" button where the shoutbox used to be. Kind of like the "Enter the Chat" button in KoL, if you know what i mean. The IRC would open in the shoutbox's space until we found a way to get it back.

Couldn't we just use the shoutbox on DBA Beta until we get the old shoutbox back?

Time is limited but there is a JOIN THE IRC button already there. (USE THE DARKBLEED SKIN ITS THE ONLY ONE THAT GETS UPDATED MORE THAN ONCE A YEAR >_>)

But maybe if we "advertised" the IRC where the Shoutbox was, maybe more people will go on it?

Having a largish java application on the front page is not a viable option. Also it would refresh everytime you swapped page resulting in a loss of chat history and nickname.
